Preventative Maintenance Coordinator- Kaiserslautern

IDS International is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Coordinator (PMC) to support the “Total Maintenance Contract for the Kaiserslautern Military Community.” The PMC shall execute the preventive maintenance work plan, perform GFEBS entries, monitor all maintenance orders in GFEBS and analyze them to prevent a duplication of work. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
- The PMC monitors all maintenance orders in GFEBS and ensures performed work is logged correctly (e.g., date, time, equipment, work center, etc.), material is posted, and performed tasks are itemized via checklist, as an integral part of Quality Control Plan.
- Works in close coordination with the SAP Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to routinely generate GFEBS reports in excel format and analyze data for compliance, accuracy and duplication.
- Regularly inspects any subcontractors and supporting suppliers or vendors to ensure
project and task order adherence to the Vectrus approved QCP. Provides follow up guidance, monitoring and tracking documentation for any findings for corrective action. - Monitors the overall QC program ensuring quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness and makes updates and requested changes accordingly in agreement with the Government.
- Performs quality assurance to ensure work and GFEBS entry is performed as specified in the PWS.
- Update GFEBS maintenance orders to reflect when the Contractor performed a quality control and if it was favorable or not.
- Ensures all supporting documentation is reported and uploaded to Government’s shared drive and that craftsmanship and material quality are IAW requirements specified in the PWS.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or Foreign Country Equivalent, or documented five (5) years of experience in Project Management and facility operations, preventive maintenance, repair, construction services, and equipment preventive maintenance and repair.
- Be able to correctly identify required maintenance, define project requirements, and relay any findings in writing (preferably) and/or orally in a way that employee understands requirements.
- Documented three (3) years of experience in the Systems Applications and Products (SAP) software as Preventive Maintenance (PM) Coordinator.
- Ability to formulize Equipment List and Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
- Proficiency with MS Office systems.
Language Requirements:
- English and German at level 4 proficiency: At this level an employee is required to possess a high degree of proficiency in both written and spoken English, including the ability to translate the host country language into precise and correct English, and English into the applicable foreign language. On occasion, an employee at this level might be expected to act as an interpreter in situations where considerable importance attaches to proper word meaning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISO Certifications.
- OSHA Certifications.
Computer Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
